The KOSMOS TAVERNA was established in August 1981 and has continued to the present day under the same ownership. After one year, we were awarded with a main entry in the consumers association GOOD FOOD GUIDE. Other awards over the years have included the AA top 500 restaurants in the U.K. award, PERRIER, restaurant of the year, EGON RONAY and many more. RICHARD and JUDY have stated that this is one of their favourite restaurants.

Our Proprietor and Head Chef LOULLA ASTIN has become a well-known face on television by appearing on such shows as THIS MORNING, U.K FOOD LIVE and many more. LOULLA has also had her own series on SKY T.V consisting of 52 programmes entitled SIMPLY GREEK and was resident chef for 3 years on THE AFTERNOON SHOW
(a regional Granada programme). She was invited to BUCKINGHAM PALACE IN May 2008 to meet the QUEEN at a reception for services to the hospitality industry of Great Britain.
